Sharon Anang Aseweh
Co-Founder and Director, DevAfric-GH, Ltd.
A Clinical psychologist with a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Ghana. She is a professional licensed Clinical Psychologist with the Ghana Psychological Council. With nine (9) years of experience, she provides psychological therapy, particularly using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and education to people of all ages. She currently serves at Healthneutron as a Clinical Psychologist and the head of the psychologists team. She is also on the specialist team at Sunshine Healthcare Ltd in the same capacity. Sharon volunteers as a Clinical Psychologist with Dialogue Genitalia Ghana and the Orange Support Center, to tackle adolescent sexual health issues in Ghana and to bring psychological relief to citizens who genuinely cannot afford the service. She served with Child Rights International for more than five (5) years, in many of their outreach and volunteering programs to remote communities in Ghana.
Katherine Adarkwa
Director of Implementation
Katherine Adarkwa has over 30 years’ experience as an Administrator and Human Resource (HR) Professional. She has a solid background in managing non-profit organizations. She is highly skilled in establishing and managing organizations of international repute. During her long career, Katherine was fundamental in establishing the West Africa Civil Society Institute (WACSI), becoming its first Head of Administration. Prior to that she worked in various capacities with several United Nations entities, including Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO); UNICEF Ghana; UNDP Ghana and UNESCO Ghana Katherine holds a Master of Arts degree (MA) in Organizational Development from the Organisation Development Institute in Ghana and a bachelor’s degree (BSc) in Business Management and Administration from the Central University in Ghana
Trina Donkoh
Project Officer
Trina is a skilled management specialist who has over five (5) years of professional experience across various sectors including hospitality, business, academia, learning and development. Throughout her career, Trina has contributed her expertise in executive assistance, office management, project management, social media management, data management, training and facilitation to the work of Rainbow Consult/L&D Africa, Potters International College, Virtual Sound Lab. Ltd, Movenpick Ambassador Hotel, and HomeRent Advisors. Trina has a Master's degree in Business Management from the Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA) in China, and a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).
Phylicia Mortey Is an international development professional, specializing in governance, organization, and institutional development. She has close to 30 years of working with experience entities such as UNICEF, The World Bank, private sector development companies such as The Kaizen Company on USG and other donor-funded projects. She also co-founded and manages the Pauline Newmann Memorial Foundation. Phylicia holds a Master’s Degree in International Conflict Resolution & Peace from American University in Washington DC, a Master’s Degree in International Development from University of Pittsburgh, and a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations from Florida International University.
